The objective of the position paper is to depict the
country’s policy
and position towards the topics of each committee; therefore, it is
advised for every delegate to elaborate one. Position Papers may also
serve as a guideline for other delegates to create coalitions and find
partners for possible draft resolutions.
A Position Paper should include a brief introduction
about the country
and its history with the topic, data and statistics,
its foreign and
political policy, any actions made by the country and
any international
document that may be important for the issues at hand
(eg.
Resolutions, treaties, etc.).
These should be sent to the respective committee email
addresses and they will
be published on each of the MUNUSAL webpage committee
zones for
all the delegates of that committee to view and download.
A deadline for submitting the position paper will be
set later on. It is absolutely crucial to respect these
dates so the chairpersons can give you a helpful feedback.
